Microfactories in Yemen will be soon launched with the support of UNHCR and Humaniti

We are thrilled to announce that for the following months our partner UNHCR Canada and Motherfood International will be implementing the Microfactory model in Yemen thanks to the enormous support of Humaniti, a global organization bringing humanitarian assistance to hundreds of refugees and thousands of women and children-headed households.

With this project, UNHCR and Motherfood expect to provide an innovative solution for income procurement and nutrition improvement to Yemenis from north to south that have been affected by the conflict. Five community centers will help in assisting local infrastructure for women to receive entrepreneurship, business, and food safety training and, conclusively, produce nutritious fortified snacks for their local communities.
